How did LifeNet begin?

Episode #1 was posted on September 18th, 2009. In October ‘08 LAGWAR began their Fallen Earth coverage. In February ‘09 some staff members joined the Alpha testing phase of Fallen Earth. Having had previous podcast success with Warhammer Online it was decided that LAGWAR would host a Fallen Earth podcast once the game released. 7 months later the game launched along with the first episode of the LifeNet Fallen Earth Podcast. A legend was born…and the rest is history.

What is LAGWAR?

LAGWAR is home to various PC gaming podcasts, gaming news, reviews, guides, and commentary. It is PC Gaming’s Best in Top Notch Mediocrity. If you’re looking for honest PC gaming coverage that isn’t watered down with corporate politics, you’ll love it.

Is LifeNet a part of LAGWAR?

LifeNet is part of a collection of podcasts hosted and powered by LAGWAR.

When do you record?

For now, we record the LifeNet podcast live on Saturdays at 10PM EST.

When are downloadable MP3’s of the show posted?

MP3’s are posted on the LifeNet website, LAGWAR.com, and iTunes on Wednesdays.

Didn’t I used to be able to download the MP3’s on Sundays?

Yep, but we have changed this to Wednesdays to allow a buffer in case of technical issues and time limitations.

How do I take part in the live show and chat room?

Simply visit LAGWAR Radio on Saturdays at 10PM EST. There you can listen to the live stream and join the chat room, where you can chat with other listeners and the hosts of the podcast in real-time.

How long does the live recording last?

We typically host a pre-show from 9:30-10:00PM EST. Nothing fancy, just gives us half an hour to go over any show notes, interact with listeners in the chat room, and allow time for any guests to prepare for the show. With the actual show beginning at 10PM EST, it ends no later than 11:30PM EST.

How do you record your podcast?

In the words of Scott Johnson, this pretty much covers it.
