I’m sure many of the WAR bloggers received their neat little postcards from Mythic Entertainment today or maybe even sooner. In compliance with the little meta-game Mythic wants to play, here are images of what I received. Let’s see if we can all put our heads together (without getting torn off) and figure this thing out! Well given the fact that the ‘blood’ around the text is in the shape of a heart, and on the bottom tip of the heart is a vague imprint of black lips.
So I think Vampires.
Inside the Gotrek and Felix series there is a vampris’ who owns a massive mansion, filled with her minions. So I think that they’re going to add a dungeon that relates to her mansion.
Would be cool in my opinion at least.

Interesting. I’m going to say this is a pure fluff one, where if you kill an enemy player in one on one combat, you get their head as an item like ears in Diablo. This head will obviously be mailable. The heart and lips are just an indication of a Valentine’s day themed live event.

Actually, I think Wrewdinge’s idea may be more in line with the truth as there are other message’s showing up that hint more towards a Valentine’s day event, and what’s more Valentiney than vampires? They seem to be all the rage with the girls these days.

Did you happen to have a letter/number code. Along the lines of O x/13, on the back or anywhere else? The word right now is that the various people who recieved them all got one piece of a 13 word puzzle.

Can you post a picture of the 7/13? No letter associated with it? I’m not sure why none of the bloggers post that part of these missives, it’s the most important clue imo.

My gut goes with the vampire guess, but for different reason. In the warhammer mythos, the “blood kiss” is the gift of vampirism. It looks blood kiss-ish to me.

The holiest time of the year for Dark Elves is Death Night. During this night the Witch Elves rule the streets of the Dark Elf cities, capturing anyone they find (whether they are slaves or Dark Elves) and dragging them back to the temples as sacrifice to Khaine. The Witch Elves will even go so far as to break into houses, which has led to Dark Elf families barricading windows and doors during this night. On Death Night, the Witch Elves will also steal away a number of children. Girls captured like this will be trained to become Witch Elves. Boys are tossed in a cauldron of boiling blood. Those that survive are trained to be true adepts of Khaine: the feared assassins. As dawn breaks after Death Night, it is customary for those who lived through the night to make a sacrifice from their own household (usually a favoured slave or elderly relative) as a thanks to the Lord of Murder for sparing their family.

I doubt that Mythic would do Death Night as an event. Seeing as it would most likely be an event only for the Dark Elf’s and a lot of the players would be pissed, especially order.

Not so sure Wrewdinge — the Christmas event ‘kegs end’ was a dwarf holiday but it was participated by both sides and all races. Might be on to something with death night.

I wasn’t playing at that time, but does Keg End event was only for dwarfs? If no, then Death Night wouldn’t be DE-only either.

The 2 popular answers are that it spells (backwards in both cases)
War Event Hints (13 letters and matches what we have so far)
and
War Event Ninth (same thing)
I’m leaning towards a War event starting Monday the 9th of February going thru Friday the 13th (Night of Murder) and all tieing in with Valentines day the 14th explaining the LOVELY valentines you all got.
Just my opinion.

I say place 8 is an e as it does look like place 10’s whose message has the same symbol in the word before too (sorry memory failure).
