Check…it…out…
I recorded the episode last night and watched it a few times. I have to say it makes me rather excited for the new content. Sure, I could make the argument about the other issues in the game, but I have confidence that Mythic is at least working on the problems. Will they be fixed by the time of the expansion? Surely not all of them, but we’ll see. My one growing concern from what I saw in the G4 spot (heh), was that the Indiana Jones style trap encounters you face when going into the dungeon look like they will “wow” you when you first see them, but then after having to run through them three or four times on your way to get the phat lewts they will become pretty passe.

content we got to play today was really great. i’ll be posting a ton of articles on what we saw, our impressions, etc. Plus we got some game play footage as well from myself and Brilen playing.
Will start posting stuff when we get back home tomorrow (Sunday). It’s 2:00am, just got done recording a podcast with Frank from Warhammer Alliance and dropped him back off at his hotel, so now we’re gonna hit the sack and prepare for the drive back home in the morning. Will begin posting tomorrow. Lots of vids from the event, some LotD game play, and some impressions from random people that were playing at the Mythic booth : )

My geek scenes are tingling…
IMO this thing turn out fantastic and has a possibility to save the game, or
It turns into another disaster and kills the game.
My mind and heart hopes for the first.
But why do the evil side always get the fun stuff???
Why do they get fart balloons and we are stuck with “seen-it-before” dwarven stuff.
Anyone got a date on LotD from the convention?

Yep, everyone was excited for this expansion. Especialy the old vets from Dark Age of Camelot. The sucess of Darness Fall and LOTRO’s Delvin Fror.
Sadly Land of the Dead was only another PvE zone that only promise simple instances. The zone doesn’t contribute in any way toward your realm so many don’t see any reason to go there. It’s zone is so open that if you do see an opposing faction, you simply avoid the fight. Let’s just say, Land of the Dead is dead.
