LAGWAR | GAMING'S BEST IN TOP NOTCH MEDIOCRITY

For part two of our Games Day Baltimore coverage I figured we’d get things rolling with a riot! The video below was something we shot during what I will call, “Da WAAAGH! Contest”. This took place at Mythic’s Warhammer Online, Land of the Dead demonstration area. You’ll notice many of Mythic’s Warhammer Online team walking around and hosting the event. You will also notice the demo area for Land of the Dead, where event attendees could stop and give the upcoming expansion a try. If you pay close attention to Paul Barnett, you will notice how he draws those Skaven Skin cloak in-game item cards like a six shooter pistol on his side, immediately drawing them at any sign of doubt from a would be WAR subscriber. The Mythic team really did a great job with this particular event at the Games Day Baltimore convention and really embraced the spirit of the Warhammer Online community at it’s best.

The contestants in this video were handpicked by Mythic employees based on how strong of a “WAAAGH!” they could belt out. Once picked, they had to answer various questions like why they love Warhammer Online so much and also questions like, what is the traditional name for Dark Elves and who is the Dwarf King.

Besides Skaven Skin cloaks flying from Paul Barnett’s six shooter, other prizes included Warhammer Online graphic novels autographed by Grahm McNeil himself.
