Some players did and still do rave about how well done the first 20 levels of Age of Conan were. I agree, it was very well done and really made the rest of the game feel like a drag. Fallen Earth has something similar but it’s much shorter and isn’t based on levels. It’s basically an intro to the story line as well as a tutorial to help you understand the controls and how to play. But while it’s teaching you how to play, it’s laying out the plot of the game and explaining who you are and what you’re doing there. I will go as far as to say that this first 1 hour tutorial/intro in Fallen Earth outdoes the first 20 levels of Age of Conan (in relation to tutorials and intros in MMO’s). It looks extremely exciting as you will see in this video I found on Youtube, which I’m guessing was made and posted by an Alpha tester.

Doesn’t it look awesome? Quite different than other MMO’s for sure, this introductory segment actually reminds me of an EVE Online setting.
