PCGamesHardware.com recently posted an article titled 30 years of Fantasy games: A Genre in the Course of Time. For those old-school and old-timer PC gamers out there, this is one article that might just take you – “back in the day”.
The author has compiled a pretty nice list of fantasy games that have been released over the last 30 years. As I was scrolling through these, I must say I was put back a little by how old some of the titles are. It just doesn’t feel like 20 years since I first played games like Gauntlet and Myth.
