Itrsquo;s my job to be the go-between between the players and the developers of the game. I spend a lot of time reading message boards and talking to players and kind of getting a feel of how you guys feel the game is going and also being a player myself, I donrsquo;t have to, but I do play the game quite a bit and interact in the community in my own little stealth way as a player. [LW] Is that something thatrsquo;s really encouraged is you to play the game as well? [Andy] Oh, absolutely [Mythic] wants us to play the game here. Itrsquo;s not just so much that itrsquo;s a job requirement; we play the game because we love it. We put a lot of work and a lot of time into this game and wersquo;re all very passionate about it. [LW] Does that change the whole fun factor being that itrsquo;s a game yoursquo;re actually working on? Does it feel like work or does it still feel like yoursquo;re playing a game and itrsquo;s something thatrsquo;s normal fun for you? [Andy] You know, it is a lot of fun kind of broken up by the sense of duty that you have when you come across a bug, so one of the first things I do is alt tab over to my outlook and type up an e-mail and send it off to the proper people. I still, these past couple of weeks, have been over in tier three playing one of my alts, doing a lot of open RvR and have four out of five Devastator now. Irsquo;m having a lot of fun with the influence system and just having a great time. [LW] Wersquo;re having a good time with the influence system as well. It's awesome. How long have you been at Mythic? [Andy] Irsquo;ve been with Mythic a little bit over three months now. I started the day after launch actually. [LW] So, say starting at launch, the game has definitely changed since launch, has your job evolved any, or any new duties come on, just anything overwhelming? [Andy] My job is actually a lot like our game. Itrsquo;s ever-changing. Therersquo;s always something new coming up that wersquo;re dealing with; something new and exciting thatrsquo;s happening. Itrsquo;s just kind of part and parcel. As you work in this industry, yoursquo;ve got to be very flexible and very open to change.
